Thanks! I think this is the unit I had in mind, not sure why they call it amplifier, though ... I was under impression it uses data from sensors and sets the modes for climate control. I.E., acts as a controller. Hmm, need to do some reading, I have noticed it is always better if one knows what he is doing ...
It does indeed take the sensor signals, then "reads" them and amplifies the resulting instruction to the extent that there is sufficient current to send to the actuation block which actually moves the flaps.
