Default alternator adjuster rod

on a 1989my v12 with Bosch 115amp alt. can anyone advise if the alternator adjuster rod bolts through from the pully side of the endplate or from the rear of the endplate plz.

I amnot quite sure what you mean by the "endplate". But in my case, I offered up the adjuster and fitted it in the way that gave the best clearance to the belt, engine etc. I have a feeling that the bolt that attaches the adjuster block fouled the belt unless fitted one particular way.

I think i took it off from the rear of the endplate, just want to make sure,

My memory is also the rearside of that lug ear????
