So, while installing the mythic right rear window motor (which, for the moment, WORKS!), my Jag's new best friend noticed that the exhaust pipe was cracked up near the middle of the car. He was able to patch it - it's been patched in other places previously - but warned me it will eventually need to be replaced.

Given that I honestly hadn't noticed a lot of noise with the way it was (driving with the top down masks a lot, plus it just wasn't THAT loud) I'm going to have to be very aware of any odd new sounds. Anyone want to hazard any guesses on how long a patched exhaust can last?
