Default Anybody ever see these?

I've come across a couple of things on my XJS that are kind of funny. I'mnot sure what they are for. First underneath the rear bumper there is a boxjust bolted there (see pic) I'm thinking old Lojack system? Also, below thebattery is an on/off switch. Obviously one’s mind jumps to battery shut off.But that’s not the case. Car electrics run fine in the off position. Maybe aswitch for the aforementioned Lojack? Has anyone seen these before? Thank youin advance for anyone choosing to respond.

Evan, I am sure some member will identify your extra equipment. I had not realized you were from Richmond, VA. This XJS must be a V-12. mine is a '96 4.0.

I was thinking it was an electronic rust eliminator.
As far as I know, they never worked.
