Default black top to blue top conversion?

I pulled the back top pump assem out of my car and replaced it with a cleaner blue top pump assm. ends up both accum. ***** were bad anyway. so I will need to get a new one. no big deal. gonna go with the gm one. anyway now I have the backwards dash brake light issue. i saw somwhere about adding a relay to solve this issue/ any thought. when I removed the black top switch from my pump the threads came off the switch., so I guesse im not gonna use that one, thanks

By pump you mean convertible top pump? Then you mention both accumulator *****? Not sure what your asking here. If your brake light is on it may mean the accumulator ball is bad, as you mentioned... ???
