Default Bolting The Drive Shaft To The Diff: Should I use Washers with the Locknuts?

Hi Guys

When Bolting the Driveshaft to the Diff using Locktight Nuts

Should I use a Washer between the Locktight Nut and the Driveshaft?

No. But once done, owing to the rust devil in the UK, it is a good plan to slide a short piece of fuel hose, of the right diameter to be a tight fit, down over the exposed threads to the back of the nut. Just long enough to cover the exposed threads.
