Default brake caliper and pistons

Hi, is this reusable condition?

1977 Jaguar XJ-S PreHE 5.3 V12 front right brake caliper and pistons.
I know sng barratt has aftermarket parts, 15 eur per piston and 195 eur for complete caliper.

Thanks,
János

Not in my opinion. When your push them all the way into the caliper. As they will be when you install the new pads. The corroded / pitted areas will be where the seals sit, and will very likely leak. So in my opinion the parts are to cheap, and easy to come by. And the peace of mind form fixing it before it becomes a problem, Priceless.

Just replace the pistons and seals. Calipers are fine. If you can get stainless pistons, use them. And flush your brake fluid every two years.
