Default buying a remote and programming it

My cat was purchased by the dealer in and auction so it came with no owners manual, remotes, etc...

I looked on ebay for some remotes and came up with this:

http://motors.shop.ebay.com/__?_from...remote&_sacat=

can someone advise me on the best option?

also, can some one point out which set of steps are accurate?

Thanks

@Rama

The ebay link is to an auction from a power seller. Based on his feedback, and his claim that he will give you free programming instructions, I would think he will be good to his word. You can't afford to get a bad review on ebay (or anywhere else) these days.

By the way, I was posting in another thread with a member who had an XJRS and had lost connectivity between the remote and the car, and the syncing procedure was pretty straightforward, so I guess this is what the ebay seller will tell you....

Post #5 by me in this post gives the details....
