Can you Lubricate the 'AAV' without taking it off the Engine?
Occasionally on 'Start Up' I get a bit of 'Hunting' until the engine warms up, which I think maybe down to a 'sometimes' Sticky AAV.
But being as I'm not that keen to remove it from the Engine, unless I really absolutely have to, I was wondering if there was a way to lubricate it in situ.
As yet I haven't attempted that, as I didn't want to risk any possibility of maybe causing some sort of a Hydraulic Lock up in the Engine, in the event that could happen if you do it wrong?

I was actually wondering the same thing. lol.
The other day, I had the breather off and was trying to get mine off to look at it to see if it was stuck but I couldn't get the hoses loose on it lol. So i hit it a couple of times with a wrench to see if my car would actually run after I put everything back on. It might have been blind luck, or it just wanted to actually start that day but it ran perfectly fine and could rev it and everything. Normally it is a very low idle and dies if you try to give it gas. I am going to try and remove it in the next couple of days to see what it looks like and if mine is stuck. If it is, I am going to try a lube it and if that doesn't work I will just rebuild it via the AAV rebuild instructions that I was shown.

I think that thread is down below a little. "Can you lubricate AAV without taking out of the CAR" verses ENGINE.Duplicate (almost) threads l think.
