Default Cant get fuel rail out

Hey forum, doing injector, fuel, plugs service and trying to get rail of, but its stuck dead

all 6 nuts removed, both in and out fuel lines out, there literally nothing else holding it

i did wd40 on all injectors, tried to lift it with my hands, shaken it, tried to lift it with a screwdriver as a lever. It just aint coming, it does come out 1-2mm, but thats it, even one injector clip went out. i really dont wanna bend rail or damager injectors.

Did i forget smth? i checked ROM, nothing else.

btw, my fuel rail is facelift one without hoses between rail and injectors.

mouserider,

Lifting the rail with all 12 injectors can be quite difficult, if any one of them is slightly stuck.

Another alternative is to undo all the injector attachment clips to the rail, and then see if the rail can be removed easier from the injectors, and then remove each injector separately.

Good luck

Paul

I simply find the midway pont of each injector hose, slice them through, you are replacing them anyway, and lift the rail off, then, as Paul stated, one Injector at a time.

++++++++++OK, maybe my bad.
It sounds like you have the later 6ltr style rail with "clip in" Injectors.
If so, the hose cutting I suggested will NOT work.
That is purely for the PreHE and earlier HE rail with individuall Injector hoses.

Thanks, after all, that was the only option, as they were sitting there so tight, that i could lift 2 injectors only by standing on manifolds and lifting injector with both hands.
