I just replaced the converters on my 1996 XJS and now I get a check engine light. The code is P1314 Misfire Rate Catalyst Damage Fault - Bank 2. My obvious stupid question is did I get a defective converter or could something else be going on that I have overlooked? I also get an 0300 code Multiple Misfires. I didn't have this problem with the old converters that had a cracked pipe behind the converters. Thanks.
