Hi
I am new to the forum and have joined as I am thinking of buying a Celebration convertible. Two authorities have told me that the Celebration does not suffer from rust to the scuttle to the same extent as other facelift models. I cannot see the logic in this as I thought all later cars were partly galvanised. I cannot understand why a 1995/1996 car would suffer less than say a 1993/1994 car.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

 

All years can rust, if buying try to find one without any.

 

"Celebration" is just the name Jaguar gave to XJSs from VIN 221855. The car is the same construction as VIN 221854
