Mine started right up after turning over a sec or two, maybe 2.5sec
mine likes to change based on how much i fiddle with the peddle. Supposedly pressing the pedal down after turning on the ignition give it an extra boost of fuel, idk.
I usually pump it a few times like its a carb or I try to start it and then try a second time, in both instances it will usually crank over as easily as my little moris traveller

Here in Ontario......Canada not California it's -18C and she turns over a little slow, about 10 sec, I don't touch the gas and it starts every time. I run 20w50 oil for the high mileage engine, that is likely hard on cold day starts
1990 V12 125,000 KM
1990 V12 125,000 KM
I run with 20w50 also I have 157535 KLM on it or 98777 miles
