Your Jaguar Delanair climate control is vaguely similar.

All incoming air is first refrigerated and then heated as needed. This is accomplished by sending the refrigerated air through the heater matrix as needed. Internal flaps/doors accomplish this.

In essence the system has four modes: cooling, heating, blend, defrost. The heater valve is open in modes except cooling. Cooling mode is easily recognizable by the center dashboard outlet opening. Typically the system spends most of the time in 'blend' mode.

Apologies to all for misinterpreting the offering.

In no way needed, Mac. But the other poster says they are working on a complete 2 fan system, so your point is useful in any event.

I've just had to pull out of the radiator which is disappointing, the radiator is clearly for an early pre 1981 car that has the Borg Warner 12 installed, thus it has push on transmission cooler pipes as opposed to the screw on type - so this is quite a rare beast, note that this is in the UK - looks like I don't get a spare.

Awesome and great to hear... I just found the site online and will dig a little more deeply. I will do this, 2 ECUs, soon. First one then another, most likely... That is, unless he offerza 2fur deal, lol... A little worried about the price BUT the reassurance will be totally worthy it... The failure or degradation to the point of failure on a 30+ ecu, that are getting harder and harder to find, has been a worry that has been looming. An upgrade in performance super sweetens the whole idea of it... Thank you, DD!

I have a 115amp alternator and I have been pondering the e fan switch a while... I like the idea of fewer belts and more space. I need to figure out the US equivalent of the fan Grant suggests. Maybe an old Ford Taurus, or sumpthin... Maybe the passat vw idea suggested by Ben. Both can be had pretty easily here.

Jaguar changed to threaded trans cooler fittings about 1985. My car has push ons, a later car I know about, still 1985 had screw on fittings.

If anyone would be interested I can hook them up with the seller - mines definitely hydraulic - as in screw on. For sure Grant my car is as you state. It isn't hard to see how these can silt up - whever thought it a good idea to put the radiator exit as hogh as it is wants bending over

HAHAHAHA.

The car had to get past the warranty period, then the care factor was ZERO, just like any Manufacturer.

Radiator out and cleaned after 5+ years, waaaay past warranty, they no care, just like changing 1A and 1B sparkers with the Delco Monster in the way, plugs last approx 40K kms, waaaay past warranty also.

We enthusiasts are a SPECIAL breed.
