cal. there was are many companies that can do it ,problem is the quality of the work, and do they warrenty there custom work.

someplace in my travels, heard that some made some custom longer stroke shafts, like 1/4" longer than a 6.0L shaft. forged steel 4340-5330, solid,NASCAR stuff.

that would be kool, lotsa torque, i love torque!! add 10psi boost and have at it.hehe.

believe me, a $500. dollar crank aint gonna be as good as a $2000. crank.

yeah, but a 2000 crank isnt gonna go very fast when i cant drive it becasue i couldnt afford the rest of the parts. haha im just looking for some info from some people who have actually done this already. i know they are out there. the guy with the v12 corvair stroked it to use chevy rods and it made 380 hp.

Cal there is a 6.0L crank on eBay out of the UK its 450GBP why don't you ask how much for shipping the the US

JAGUAR V12 6 LTR CRANKSHAFT CRANK NEW BOXED EBC10992 | eBay

THere is also a company in Europe that sell a kit for the V12 for the folks who race these in the UK consisting of 6.0" Chev rods and custom forged pistons. I know Chev rods work they have been used more than a few times.

If I were you I would offset grind the crank for as much stroke as you get without welding it. It needs to be re-ground anyway.

I know you can get about 0.18thou of extra stroke using large journal Chev rods. Depending on the damage to your crank you might get slightly less, but with a set of oversize pistons you should be still around the 6.0L mark.

Guys here in Aus have used the ACL 202 race piston 0.40thou oversize and these work well up to 500hp in the V12.

Just do your research before committing to a course of action.

7.4L will require the block to bored and larger liners and an 84mm stroke crank a very expensive exercise. If you are on a budget stick with the stock liners and bore to a max of 93.5mm with suitable pistons. 6.0L will yield you 450hp with the right setup.

A guy I know has a stock 6.0L in his targa car we were talking about mods as I has just bought a complete 6.0L engine. He said his car has CAI, exhaust and a wolf ECU making 450hp.

a simple" set up" would be a good running stock 6.0L remove all emission controls, mount two turbos at the rear, where mufflers were, and good standalone ECU.

you could easily make the HP#s you are looking for, hi-compression and all,ECU to control any detonation,water/alcohol for hi boost situations, dont need it just cruisin at night on the hunt.

i dont understand why you would run a big N/A when you could have a small FI that makes the same power and is more economical.

Because there is no room for forced induction on a non astronomical budget. Even if i put rear mounted turbos id need new pistons rods, turbos. Bid displacement makes much better street motors. Plus a 7.0 v12 is effin awesome
