Custom mods on an XJS?

Custom mods on an XJS?
It may be blasphemy on this site but I was wondering if any of you have made any custom modifications to your XJS? I am not talking radical mods but subtle changes such as wheels, stance, performance, etc. I have a 90 XJS convertible, I also have a 95 BMW 525i. There is a very active forum (bimmerforums.com)that most members are into subtle mods such as wheels and stance that completely changes the attitude and handling of these cars for the better. If you have made any mods to your XJS please post them. Thanks

RE: Custom mods on an XJS?
Not blasphemy, but, most keep them as they came, or try to go back to original, because they just plain look good, and handling and preformance is already good. My 95 XJS had the European headlights, which, in my opinion look terrible, plus a good matchstick will put out more light. I changed my Euro lights for the earlier quad lights. Still a Jaguar part, a Jaguar look, and, much better lighting. Subtle, yes. I haven't had a single comment about the lights not being original, and tons of comments about how good it looks. I also changed the wheels, from the original spoked (for the lack of the real name), that came on the 95 XJS, for the starfish type, that also came original on the 95 XJS. Can't think of any other changes I'd like to do, it just looks so damned great, as is. Photos, if interested are posted elsewhere in this XJS forum, under the heading of Pictures of our XJS's.

I did some sway bars from the driven man, I'm still trying to decide on the the wheels because I don't want to ruin that great jaguar look, I also did brake rotors, modified the intake a little (still got more to do), doing the exhaust soon, and who knows maybe other things down the road.

Aside from major drivetrain mods, I put in a pipneed cd player with an I pod input. Sounds great. Also changed out the speakers to MB Quarts.
Of course having a six speed stick coming out of the console is cool. Personally I like having the cat eyes on the Cat. Quads make the car look older. JMO..

I think the Euro style headlamps make the front of the car look like a giant insect
But, hey, that's just me.
I'm OK with Jag mods. Personally, though, I think appearance mods on a Jag ...any Jag...should be kept on the conservative side. Tastes differ, of course, but I don't think I've ever seen a Jag that looked right with a lot of bling or boy-racer stuff.
Cheers
