Dead radio

I have '96 XJS Convertible. Battery was just replaced. The radio will now not turn on. It does not say "code" or anything. ...Anything suggestions? Also, does anyone have a pdf of an owner's manual? I can't find mine. Thanks.

I have to say that the factory stereos are absolute *****. If the remedy involves any cash outlay, I'd spend it on an upgraded head unit and speakers. Nakamichi makes some lovely understated units that look quite at home. If you can score an older Alpine with green illumination, those also look quite nice in the XJS console.

Of course, I would check the fuse first.

Ditto on the fuse. I'm seriously considering a new head unit myself even though my stocker works ATM.

Someone please assist: My 1994 Jaguar XJS battery died, when jumped everything went back on but the radio. The car is pristine, I am the orginal owner of this garage stored low mileage gem

Can someone tell me what I need to do. We checked the fuses, they are fine?? Thanks! aparvana@yahoo.com

I had my car jumped once and the trip computer died. I disconnected the battery, reconnected and all was well. If this doesn't work I'd leave the battery disconnected for 24 hrs and maybe something might reset
