First - any help or referrals to sites/sellers would be equally appreciated.

I have a triple blue H&E conversion convertible xjs that I am doing the restoration on. I need several parts but the ones that seem impossible to find are the interior parts in Navy Blue. Does anyone have either (and I would jump for joy here) a parts car with the blue interior, blue interior pieces for sale or know of where I might find these pieces at? I have been looking for about 6 months for a driver’s side door pull/arm rest that has broken loose so I am pretty desperate.

I doubt you will find another navy interior. I've personally never seen one. I would resign your self to finding one in another color and dying it.

I saw a white standard (not H&E) convertible parting out on Craigslist here in San Fran about a month ago and it had a blue interior. As Ken said, they are very rare, most people have never seen one.

Kens suggestion is probably your best bet. I restored my badly beaten interior back to usable level by redying it. I used this product.....http://www.leathermagic.com/Pages/dlxlthrrepkit.htm

If you can take a small colour sample from the door card itself (Take the card off the door and there is about 1" overlap all the way around) and send them the sample they should be able to colour match it for you. I can't remember for 100% certain, but I'm pretty sure both the door card and the handle are actually real leather

 

Thank you for the suggestions. I have found a couple of parts cars in my part of the world (SE US) but they all had tan interiors. I think I will try the dye suggestion. Afterall, what I have I got to loose?

Have you thought about buying the leather and re-upholstering?

 

The problem is not with the leather as much as it is with the arm rest. The small tab at the dash and of the arm rest that bolts it to the door panel/frame has broken. Becuase of where it is broken, I can not get it repaired, I have to buy one.

 

Do you need a new drivers' side door pull in navy blue? I will ask round to find out if anyone knows where to get one. Will let you know soon.
