My observations are the convertible items use a harder rubber. This may be because converts are considerably heavier than coupes.

Default Are these Jaguar parts freshly made or just new-but-old parts?

I am getting ready to replace the CBC-5737 subframe mounts on my 95 XJS 4.0/convertible and have read your comments about using original Jaguar brand parts vs the aftermarkets, such as URO product line. I’m fine with purchasing the OEM brand but am concerned about how old the dealers’ inventory may be. Like the tires and hoses, if they are 20+ years old, how much longer will they be reliable? Does anyone know if Jaguar is still having these produced or will I just be buying old, unused parts?

Thank you in advance for your input. And thanks for the knowledge that I gain by following all of you on the forum.

Most of the damage to rubber parts comes from UV light.
NOS off the shelf should be OK.
That's my non expert opinion.
