My '95's radio works now. I don't have a code for it and I am concerned if/when I need to disconnect the battery I will have a problem getting the radio to work again. I have been told that the '95's with removable faceplate do not have a code as the removable faceplate is the security. I checked with two dealers and they both said they don't have access for information on cars older than 2009. If someone has a '95 and a code then I probably need one. If someone has a '95, no code, has disconnected the battery, and not needed a code to get the radio working again that would be great information.

David, I have a 94-built car with the face-off unit and there is no security code required after the battery is disconnected

My 96 also did not require a code. But a friend of mine's 92 did.
