whats everyone think for good engine component colors?

im probably gonna do the cam covers up in black and the crossover & coolant pipes in red.

trying to decide if i should polish the intakes or paint them.

or should i just polish everything?

 

I painted my valve covers and intakes black, then took a D/A to the raised fins to expose the aluminum. I painted the crossover tube and everything else black as well.
I think these cars aren't meant to scream "look at me!" with bright colors. I look at these Jaguars and they're more of a "I know what I am and I know what I'm capable of, I don't need to show it" type personality.

 

i think your right. im gonna polish the crossover, the coolant pipes, the radiator pipes. then im gonna paint the coolant manifolds this gorgeous wrinkle black that i love. and then do the cam covers in black cherry red. i think itll be perfect. itll be like a little black dress with the dark red thong. lol
