Default Ecu replaced

Had a 6cu ecu but I have replaced it with a 16cu version.
Works well and I'm pleased, but found today on a run that my trip computer still works, clock etc, but the fuel inst
reading is all over the place has anyone else done the swap and had this problem?

Have not heard of that issue before.

Can you clarify "...all over the place..."?

The instant reading is always very volatile, so to speak. The slightest change in load or throttle opening results in a dramatic change in the reading.

Cheers

Rex
It should be a straight swap. I have done one and it was, but that car had a clock not the trip computer.
The fuel instant reading should be all over the place unless you are on a steady cruise on a flat road. Can you describe more exactly the numbers coming up and the time intervals?

Thanks Greg and DD, I'll have get back on this. Trouble is on a bright sunny day the whole illumination is invisible to me so I may have been missing something, and traffic today doesn't let you take your eyes off of what's going on around you. Greg are you rioting at the moment. 👀😊😊😊

Not in my 'La France profonde'! It is in the big cities, thankfully.
