1989 HE: I was replacing vacuum hoses and found what I've identified as the EGR vacuum switch. From what I've gathered, one vacuum port goes to the intake manifold and it is secure. The other, I guess, goes to the EGR valve and I cannot for the life of me find it. Would someone please direct me to the EGR location? I know it has to be plumbed into one of the exhaust manifolds. My XJS runs great at speed and idle by the way. I am attaching a pic of what I thinking is the EGR vacuum switch.
I no longer have that dump switch, as it was redundant, and my memory is foggy. But one port should go to the cruise control servo and the other to a vacuum source. Which vacuum source specifically, I don't recall.
