Engine Coolant Change
I have a 1990 Jag XJS V12. How do I drain the coolant? I tried to look at any access hole to the bottom of the radiator and did not find anything. Please help with picture if possible.
Thanks
Thanks
Hi MIFoodie
I've also got a 1990V12
In order to change the Antifreeze you have to pull the Bottom Hose of the Rad or you might get away with removing the Hose on the Smaller Spigot, that sticks up from the Bottom Outlet of the Rad
You can see how I did this on Page:15 of my 'Cherry Blossom' restoration thread and here is the Link

Thanks for the help as usual I probably should look in your thread since it answers all my questions. Draining the coolant from the hose that you indicated was a PITA. Wow, could they have made it any harder?
If your dumping coolant anyway you should consider a rad flush with a product, LiquiMoly makes good stuff for that, NAPA etc sell similar items. You'd be shocked at the amount of crud you can shop-vac out of the inlets.
