Hey pal, I would hope that you disconnected the battery before doing this. Either way, could you specify a little more. Can you hear it crank? Are you sure you have fuel? Does this car run on a distributor and spark plugs, or on coils? Did you cover the alternator with a bag before starting? Let us now a few more details.

Probably a matter of letting it sit for awhile. No cap or rotor. I doubt it's the coils. As Biggie asked, are you getting any attempt to turn over but it won't fire or does the engine not want to turn. Either way, it's probably a matter or letting it sit and dry out.

If you have a puddle,where the spark plugs meet the coils, it will NEVER dry out. Trust me, I've been there. I would try and remove the coils, and blast air in there. Just my 2 cents.

Good point. Leave the plugs in so that water does not go into the engine.
