extreme rear toe in help
so i was eyeballing my XJS the other day and ive noticed that the rear wheels seem to be towed in very sharply. possibly -2* or more
i cant tell if this is due to the body lines tricking my eyes or if there is an actual problem here. ive never messed with the rear suspension. is there possibly something that could be wrong?
any help guys?

If you look up some of the diy alignment tutorials you can figure
out how to get a fairly good measurement of your toe-in using
just string and a ruler.
BTW, toe-in is positive if the front of the tires are closer together
than the rear of the tires. So, +2* if you are really saying toe-in.
Rear toe-in, unlike front toe-in, must be set equal on both sides relative
to the centerline of the car. This is true of the front as well, but on the
front, if toe-in is unequal it only results in a crooked steering wheel. Not
so with the rear.
I see that BB says rear toe cannot be adjusted. So the above is just
for verification purposes.

just to confirm you observations
your saying that you think the front most part of the rear wheel tyres are looking in toward the middle of the car ( toe in ), which can not be adjusted
and you not saying the top of the tyre is looking in ( camber ) , which is normal, and actually advised to remove the camber shims to improve rear planting of the car on the road for a more positive feel
if no scrubbing or grabbing into cornering the car, i would suggest you ok,
if in doubt then take her to a tyre centre and get the alignment checked , advisable after any recommissioning to be honest
