I just put a set on my Series III but just haven't driven it enough to really judge how they perform

Update, a bit late

The Flaken Ziex performed quite well but were simply too noisy.

I switched to these; much better as far as noise goes and I can find no vices in terms of driving behavior. Same size, same "H" speed rating

Gentlemen, I have a confession to make. The Jag is gone. I did drop the cage in the end cos you know how it is - once you start it just grows and grows... So a friend and I sorted the brakes, mounts, calipers, cables etc. and we welded thick gauge plates on each radius arm mount, got her a fresh MOT and I decided to test the market... First guy to come and see her paid full asking price. It's a funny thing cos I loved the Jag - it really is such a cool car and always put a smile on my face when I opened the garage or took her for a drive but I just never felt 'secure' enough to take her far. I wanted something I could drive to Scotland and back with no worries and the 12mpg was pushing me to bankruptcy. So, please forgive me when I confess I have gone German, modern classic. And 'he' is now 'she'. Oh, the shame..

Nice. Very nice. That is going to MOVE.
So many ex-Japan Jags turns up in the UK that I'm tempted to see if it's worth it to sell mine there when the time comes....

that is what is said, but i have had it up 130/135MPH before front starts to get light, if you have the Ba%%s to keep your foot into it, front settles down and the real early XJS nose/headlight aeroshape pushes down !

but i rarely drive 130+ anyway so of little concern to me, i,m an early American hot rodder, so i do what has some esthetic looks and has excellent accelleration!
