Default Finally some snow

We finally got some snow up here. Thought we'd make it all the way through winter without. She drove great, I have to admit I was a little worried.

@mat

Good to see them being driven properly, ie not hidden in garages under covers for 9 months a year ! I am glad to live in California where I don't see snow so I only have to deal with some rain occasionally

My God !! You have only just had snow in Oregon !! I thought all northern US states got 6 to 12 feet every winter. Here in Good 'Ol England we have had an absolutely awful winter. It seems to be going on for ever ! However, like you, not much snow on the Cheshire plain, just very, very cold for months on end. I left the Jaguar on the driveway for most of it.

Yup, our weather here in Portland is pretty similar to your weather over there I hear, Fraser. Lots of rain and chilly weather. The city pretty much shuts down as soon as a snowflake falls out of the sky.

Nah, not really. In the Pacific Northwest states there really isn't much snow west of the mountain ranges. In 15 years I can only remember two winters where we really had significant snow.

Light snow...and inch or two here and there, lasting a few days....isn't unusual, though.

The north eastern states are a different matter.

Cheers
DD
