Hello all,
My young son son and I will has this vehicle in the near future.
It was brought to my attention that I may consider removing and cleaning the oil pan, and replacing the oil pump.
Is this something one should consider after this car has sat for 2-1/2 years?

I wouldn't consider it necessary, no.

What model exactly are you getting? XJSs came in a variety of flavors.

Right now, it is a 1989 xjs v12.
