Andreas, last year I actually contacted this guy on behalf of a mate who found it online. It is a total wreck from the body point of view and he would come down to 7500 but that was it. We estimated about 25,000 UKP (say 30 USD) minimum to make it decent again, with none of that labour. So you have around 40,000 USD invested, several man-years of your own time, and that would probably be 10,000 more than you might, repeat might, get for it.


For anyone who has that sort of money lying idle, obviously a wonderful thing to have, but no economic value in the foreseeable future, sadly.

 

That was my first impression. For 750 it would be a deal. For 7500 I can get a nice automatic XJS. Or a quirky XJ-SC.

I still go by the rule of thumb that I could sell any of my Jaguars for at least half of what I put into them. ;-)
