FUEL PIPE REPLACEMENT... ?

FUEL PIPE REPLACEMENT... ?
after dropping the rear cage, i have confirmed that i need to replace the fuel pipes under the car, both the supply and the return ,
now, Jaguar still stock most of the pipes required , however, they are steel, and will end up in the same condition as the ones i have given the same amount of time, that and the cost would be nearly £400 to replace the lot.
now for my question .......
has anyone replaced the old steel pipes with the newer ' polly ' pipes as used on modern cars,
the tubing is a strong impact resistant poly piping that doesnt have to be set round bends, it just follows the contours it needs to , with maybe a few extra clips
it also comes in long lengths , so doesnt need loads of fittings to install it
anyone helps out here ?

RE: FUEL PIPE REPLACEMENT... ?
this is cool, i'm replying to my own question, lol
anywho,
i purchased two original over axle fuel pipes that go into the rear of the car, these are terminated just in front of the back wheels on both sides of the car, they are quite complicated in shape and are made up of several different types of material ( metal and flexible fuel pipe ) with a braised on fitting
i bought these two units from the US as even with taxes and shipping they were only a third of the price of the ones in the UK ,
as for the rest of the pipes ( supply and return ) under the car, i have bought some stock 3/8 cupronickel pipe, with some new olives, this will replace the original steel ( and now rusty ) pipes under the floor , these pipes go up into the engine bay and terminate with hoses for the fuel system, so no special s required
the over axle pipes have now been installed ready for my rear cage rebuild to be hung back into the car
