fuel pump and ecm relay questions....
1992 xjs 5.3 v12. Earlier in the week, took the car to the store down the street to get some littleneck clams and beer. Came back out and no starty. It had fired up, but died and would not fire up again. Called AAA and had the car towed home. Tried the car in the drive, didn't hear the fuel pump come on for the required couple of seconds when keyed-up. Tried to start, would fire a bit like it was starting on fumes. So, I look up what runs the pump, find the fuel pump and ecm relays. Intend on checking them with my test light, but I had no idea which terminals were which, so I pulled both relays and marked them with nice fat sharpie so I can see them. Reinstall and try the car and it starts. Figure I'll replace both relays as they are what I was screwing with when everything started working.
Finally found some time to look for parts. Found this relay on Ebay:
IMC 835 26022 738 Relay, Fuel Pump | eBay
4 pins instead of 5, which is ok as there are no wires to the center of the fuel relay. Can't seem to find out amp rating for this relay, though....this should work for the fuel pump, no?
Still looking for the ECM relay....believe a standard 5 pin would work, but no diode to protect the ECM in case some dunderhead jumps starts my car with the cables backward. Anybody have a idea where to get one relatively cheap? Or can I get a diode (and which and where to get it) to put in the wire to the ECM?
Thanks,

Thanks, Greg
Using your numbers above for the ECM relay, I found the following:
Relay - Fuel Pump (AFU2913OE Same Fit As Part # 0 332 014 112) - Land Rover connector\relays\flasher from Atlantic British
Says in the page that it fits where the 0 332 014 112 Bosch does. Schematic even shows a diode in the place across the coil. Thinking this might work? Just looking for other manufacturers/numbers to see what is out there price wise.

Ordered the relay Greg pointed out on ebay.
I ordered something else instead for the fuel relay....

50 amp instead of 30. And instead of having both an 87 terminal in the center and 87 terminal at the end both being normally open, it has the 87 terminal at the end which is normally open and an 87a terminal in the center which is normally closed. Shouldn't matter, though, because the car doesn't have a wire to the center terminal anyway. Cost was only $7.01 on ebay.
