Gauge Problem
We have completely restored the entire rear-end in a 1985 Jaguar XJS V12 HE. Suprisingly the car actually started without issues after sitting on jacks for about three years. The rear end is awesome and it actually stops now!
However, after a few minutes of drive time the gauges fail because the panel fuse (10) blows. We have removed the gauge pod to check for corrosion and have found none. We attempted to plug the panel in without it being installed in the dash to ensure that nothing is grounding it out, but now we have no power to the entire system and the battery is hot. Does anyone have a clue what exactly is going on or how to fix it?
