Getting the XJ-S ready for the cooler weather and more night driving, ordered some LEDs from the v12s.com site. Got the dash switch and lighter bulbs in no problem, and will pull the instrument cluster this weekend if I get time.

But...how the heck you get to the gear shift indicator bulb to replace? I unscrewed the shift knob and plastic gear shift cover, removed the panel brushes, indicator plate, and green filter. Could see the bulb, but couldn't pull the shroud up to get at it. Do you have to remove the entire console?
