The Good, The Bad, and No Ugly
Well after about two yrs of going over, cleaning and checking things under the hood/bonnet, and having to replace a defective rotor, the Jag started right up with no real problem but one, my RPMs stayed high, the one part I forgot to check out for function, the AAV. So pulled it off and tested it and seems it was not closing all the way, got another in and will be putting it on later on tonight. Was surprised by the engine/motor starting up with not having to crank it over so much, seemed to got with a turn of the key so am sure the timing is set, or at least set real close.
WELL DONE.
The V12 SHOULD start on the first revolutoion of that engine every time, or very very close.
If it sort of winds up, it has issues.
I agree with the timing observation.
Drive timing it will get it way better.

I just got it put back together and all nuts and bolts are torqued to spec, I forgot to check the AAV when I had the top of the motor apart, it wasn't closeing all the was, cleaning and re testing
