Got My XJS today
I picked up my 6 cyl. 95 XJS today and I'm pretty happy. I've always loved the design since they came out. I've started to do some cleaning and I need a few things. I plan to re upholster the seats. The tail pipe bracket is broken on both sides (just need to get it welded back on), order some nice CoCo mats, need a rear left side marker lens assy. and the worst thing will probably be to get the air cond. fixed. The guy I bought it from said he has just charged it in the past and it was fine. Well I will probably need to do more than just a charge. Plan to go to motor vehicles tomorrow to get it registered. Some nice road trips are in my near future. Runs like a top! Purrs like a kitten!

Continued???
F150, I neglected to recover the knife and scabbard under the seat!!!
Even Crocodile Dundee would be impressed. It is a WWII GI Marine Corps machete. hefty and really good steel.
B. The guts of a car phone exist under the passenger seat of my 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
C. I removed the remnants of a really crude alarm system from my 83 XJ, while it was still a six.
Supposedly, there is one bolt that secures the front seat cushion. I've not found it. so, the wonders hiding there are...
And, I've never removed the rear cushion to find the treasure.
As to the AC. My Jeep used to require an annual recharge. A can of R134 from the parts store would bring back finger chilling cold.
A couple of years ago, I got the can with a leak sealer. some say not good. Well, there was a decal on the Jeep advising that a sealer had been added in the past. So, why not? So far, just great. No annal
can needed. Cold is there....
Jaguar AC not on line. When, I've not the slightest. It is now all Jaguar, except the GM compressor. new dryer and flushed condensor.
Oil in the compressor, I don't know???
