Took the little solenoid device from the shifter mechanism yesterday and installed an ignition disabling switch, hidden of course. My locks don't work so I am making sure no one can steal my little darling until I get time to fix the locks.
My opinion about the ignition switch/brake pedal device is that I don't need to depend on either of those to let me get my car out of park. Either are suceptable to malfunction. We got along for almost 100 years without those little gimmicks.
