Before I do it, I will send a picture just to make sure I have “calculated“ the right spot LOL

that is super cool that they used such an old engine… Well designed engine is a well-designed engine… I bet an old Chevy 235 with modern tolerances And fuel injection would be substantially better than any of the six cylinders they made today LOL I believe the four-cylinder and Volkswagen Jetta is a 1992 design with modern components. This jagged front and uses a 4.9 inch inner diameter coil that’s about 11 inches high free height. I have searched and searched and still not found any other vehicle that uses a similar sized Coil. I was hoping to find something with a spring right around 340

Drew , the Chevy 235 was /is a low performance engine , the GM inline 6 to mod would be the GMC truck engine!
full pressure lube system, 7 main bearing crank, cross flow Ally head available, etc! many manifolds and performance parts available!
the ultimate inline 6 would have to be the BARRA 6 from Australia, 300cu.in. all forged internals from factory, modded some have been over a 1000hp!

rear body flex area, this stiffins it up!
pic of my cross brace on XJS that is a cross the upper body above the shocks, it does stiffin up the body structure , along with the diagonal braces , also there is a front cross X type front of radiator!
it is surprising how much flex is in the XJS unibody, pic of rear section that can flex(i think this got it covered now).

I only meant reliability. Performance would be the 194-230-250-292. Those were better. I just meant old motors were actually good. With today’s tech they’re likely better then today’s crap. I love that jag rocked a wwii motor in the 80s. I loathe that Toyota didn’t use the 90s JZ In the new Supra.
