I would like to know if the chrome metal washer headlight cover can fit as a replacement for 1996 XJS originally with plastic washer cover

I thought that the big-bumper XJS was only ever fitted with one type of wash cover, part numbers LHC7054AA & LHC7055AA.

Which are the different part numbers to which you're referring?

This the part number DAC7927

It is for models prior to 1995

I was wondering if it can be fitted

Sylvain,

DAC7927 & DAC7928 were fitted only up until April 1993 from when the big plastic bumpers were fitted. I guess it's possible they could be fitted with some cutting and fettling but would suspect they were changed because they don't fit exactly on the new bumpers.

As you probably know, only DAC7928 is available new.
