Hoping someone might have some ideas to help me, my 89 xjs is blowing cold air from the lower vents and warm air from the high vents when I have the high vents on. I am looking for heat and have moved the switch from cold to warm air, set the temp control to 75.

I think that in a 1989 you have the Delanair III qircon version. If you can pull out the temp knob a click (if working this gives full cold) then you do. Verify this to begin with as this system is very different from the earmier D II.
