heater fan on 1994 xis stays on
Hello,
New member with a 1994 XJS (4.0) 2+2 convertible.
Heater fan sometimes stays on even after the ignition key is off and removed.
Temporary cure is to turn key on, turn fan full on in manual and then off.
Has worked so far, but I am prepared to pull fuses if needed.
Anyone with similar problem that has been fixed?
ECU, fan motor relays, etc have been suggested.
thanks,
Bob Minor

This is usually attributed to a faulty Darlington transistor in the blower assembly.....at least on slightly earlier models than yours. I'm 98% your '94 has the same system and same transistors... but someone else will have to come along and provide the last 2%.
