I have a 1996 XJS with the AJ16 engine.

Apparently my hood control module has died. At least that’s what the shop that replaced my fuel tank is telling me. Worked fine when I dropped it off. (I knew I should have replaced the tank myself)

Anyways, it appears that the part number I need is DAC11333, although it appears that people think using the previous DAC7355 will work, which I found for about half as much.

Does anyone know if they do interchange?

 

In case anyone cares, they seem to be completely, and fully, interchangeable. I plugged in my DAC7355 and it works perfectly fine in my 1996 XJS with the AJ16, as well as a 1995 XJS with the v12. Even though its been superseded by DAC11333, they both work perfectly fine.

(Note: DAC11333 is what comes in the later models, the earlier convertibles use DAC7355. I haven't checked to see if the newer DAC11333 works in the older convertibles, but I would bet it does)
