Default How to bypass RH Fuel pressure regulator?

Car seems to lurch when I apply the gas so I'm starting to go through the steps to remedy that. Popular option is to bypass/remove the RH side fuel pressure regulator. Anyone have a good way to do this? Went to the parts store and the poor kid looked at me like I was trying to reengineer the moon lander.

Thanks in advance.

The RH/inlet regulator has two fuel pipes attached. Remove the pipes (be ready for some spilled fuel*) and remove the regulator.

Now you have two fuel pipes attached to....nothing.

Join the two fuel pipes together with a length of fuel injection grade rubber hose and hose clamps. Each of the metal pipes has a knob/flare thingy on the end that you'll slide the hose over and which will provide a secure joint when clamped.

You'll need 3/8" ID hose as I recall.

Cheers

* To mange fuel spillage I surround the area with rags and then just barely crack open the fitting so the fuel doesn't gush out in one big gush. Just let it trickle into the rags for a couple minutes. The toss the rags out onto the driveway or whatever to dry

You could probably have something like that made up for an extra-clean appearance but, yeah, it isn't really required
