Can't see much under there as don't have a lift nor a pit. Does it get refilled from inside the cab or underneath?
TIA for any guidance.

You might want to add what kind of car you have and maybe post in the appropriate tech section.

Welcome to the forum 1boltleft,

I've moved your question from General Tech Help to XJS forum. Members here with the same model will be able to help.

Please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some info about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.

In the engine bay, on the passenger side near the fire wall is the dip stick for the transmission fluid. You add fluid there.

If you want to replace the fluid and filter then you need to remove the transmission pan. There is no drain plug so the only way to remove the old fluid is to drop the pan.
