How do you play music on an XJS' stereo
I just bought a 1995 xjs last week
I' totally new with cars, I'm wondering how do I play music of my phone( samsung galaxy note2, 3.5mm connector) in the 1995 jaguar xjs' stereo. Whats kind of adapter should I buy? What are the steps to make it works?
need helps.

In my '88, I use a cassette adapter, which my son bought for $4 at Walmart. It was one of the impulse buy items hanging at the checkout lane. I plug my Galaxy Note in, and can play streaming music (Pandora, Slacker, etc.), as well as music downloaded to my phone.
A very simple and unobtrusive way to do it is to go to Walmart and buy a transmitter for your phone that plugs into the headphone jack. It broadcasts a signal directly to your radio on a specific radio setting.
No wires, no alterations needed.

I'm putting one of these in. It requires removing the radio to plug this unit into the antenna port, then reinstalling the radio. Same as an FM transmitter but puts the signal right into the antenna port for better reception. So I'm also adding an on/off switch to the car's antenna so I can leave it down when i'm listening to the iPod or phone. All device connectors and the on/off switch are hidden in my ashtrays (no cutting or drilling needed with the switches I have sourced). I will post photos once it is done.
