We need to replace ALL the fuel hoses. Not just the injector hoses. Its pretty amazing how hard the return line, supply lines were on my 89. They run near the exhaust maifolds, and we all know how hot it gets under the hood of these cars

I'm assuming you are talking about the V12? The lines on my L6 at 120k seem perfectly fine. Also, I have a 1975 motorcycle that I replaced the lines on even though they were ok and just barely getting hairline cracks... I live in Northern CA. Which makes all the difference I suppose.

Old thread but you never know who will come looking even after all this time

I changed the injector hoses on my 87 XJS as they were looking cracked. I got the hose from euro car parts for £9 and re used the metal discs. Using a sharp new blade cutting the hose to lenth is easy and just pushed the new hose back onto the rail and injectors at the same time holding the disc on the end of the hose. getting the old hose off is the hardest part as you DO NOT want to damage the stepped connection on the rail or injectors

Worked fine with no leaks. If you can get new discs then i would recomend to use them. I also fitted new injector seals a few pounds from SNG Barratt online

I found a set of 12 on E Bay and at a great price. but if you take the old hose off carefully you could re use them, or so I have been told. I read, I think on here, that after cutting the hose off close to the injector use a soldering iron to finish cutting/slitting the hose down into the cushion ring.
