How to remove chrome trim

The gutter trim is just pushed on over the roof/body weld seam, but hard to remove without bending it!
The trim round the back window/stale air exit panel is a sod. First remove the rear side window, then you can see the rivets that hold the trim under the window which you drill out. Then you CAREFULLY prise up the vertical/sloping trim from the corner piece up to the gutter, it is clipped over some special raised rivet heads and this has to be done VERY carefully indeed, feeling for where the attachment points are. The corner piece has a small threaded stud with a nut on it, accessible from the boot up into the inside of the panel.

First you need to remove the door card, window glass and window runner gasket. This will expose the 3 screws near the top of the quarter window. Remove those screws and the 2 screws at the front of the door. You can then remove the quarter window glass. The chrome piece is screwed in to the door below the wiper seal. If you are replacing that seal then it is easier to just cut the seal to get at the screws.
