Hello
I am looking for a kit or a solution to move the drivers seat further back
Any ideas?

Welcome to the forum Solent Blue,

I've copied this question from your Intro to XJS forum for advice from members with the same model.

The seat is on sliding runners, the fixed part of which is bolted to fittings on the floor pan.
Sometimes the actual fixed part of the runner has a second set of holes, so the entire thing can be moved back and rebolted.
If not, it is a possibility to drill another set of holes in the fixed part of the runner, and rebolt.
If not, an extra piece of steel bar can be bolted under the fixed part so as to move the seat back by (effectively) lengthening the fixed part of the runner
It may be possible to adjust the place the seat itself is fixed to the runner mechanism so as to move the it further back.
