Any of the usual Jaguar vendors sell them. Coventry West, SNG Barrat, Terry's, Welsh, etc.

Be aware if you didn't already know, there are 2 seals per injector. EAC2414 and EAC2415.

 

If you put the time you spend ripping v8 conversions and making up injector pricing, you might find deals like this.

12 rings for $12. I know you're probably grumbling that you could get 2 injectors for that price, but I'd take it if I were you.

L36? I assume some sort of Chevy jargon. If you owned a Chevy you could buy lots of parts cheap but you own a Jaguar.

I do agree sometimes prices for things seem ridiculous. I am happy so many things are still available for our cars. You have to consider the fact that Jaguar has gone through 2 restructurings and sales since your car was built. The other thing is there were not many XJSs built. I think there were less 100,000 units from the first year until the face lift.

 

honestly, nothing ive bought for my car so far has been expensive. but i wasnt gonna pay nearly 5 dollars a piece for the injector orings.

L36 injectors are identical in every way, except for the tip, and the quick connect.

 

I don't blame you about over paying for parts. With this injector style you need 24 o-rings. A quick search of eBay shows them fairly cheap.

A quick search on Rockauto shows a set of six upper and lower for $2.41. Standard Motor Products SK10. Maybe a local source can get them for that price. You need two sets. That is less than $5 for all 24 seals.

 

where are the uppers located on the injector? between the old style connector and the barbs?

ive just got regular fuel line and hose clamps these days.

 

beware the rockauto cheapie orings. i ordered enough to do 18 injectors and a bunch were bad and cracked. i ended up with enough to do 10 injectors altogether.

so if your gonna get them, buy at least 4 boxes. which is still less than 15 bucks shipped. i think 3 boxes came out to $9 something shipped.
