Need 1996 XJS Passenger front brake caliper and Master Cylinder. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Are there any good rebuild shops out there?

I have 3 good used at hand. $200 each plus shipping includes the triangle reservoir. You can send yours in for a rebuild for 250+ return shipping. I can still get rebuild kits for now but I dont know for how much longer. PM me your contact info if you want one.

 

Have the Master Cylinders been sitting out of the cars long? Or have they been is use recently? Just trying to decide between a rebuild or not. Are the three you have rebuilt?

Good question, I have one from a car that was driven about 6 weeks ago. I took it out of the car and put it on a shelf about 10 days ago. This 1996 XJS hit a pole but was still derivable. Brakes felt great and the car had many new parts and seemed well maintained. Any used or rebuilt parts is a gamble though, one from a car that was driven weeks ago is a reasonable bet.
